Parent Support Group - Main Street School

We are proud to host a monthly Parent Support Group for families of our Main Street School students. Each month our school social workers facilitate an evening for parents and caregivers to connect, share and grow. Group topics range from behavior management, accessing school and community resources to self-care. Time is spent sharing personal experiences in the adventures of parenting and also learning how to bridge the gap between new skills being taught at Main Street to the home environment. The evening is complete with free babysitting and a light dinner. Our Parent Support Group is a valuable opportunity to comfortably connect with people who also have children with special needs and actually "get it"! Be sure to check your child's backpack for your monthly invitation or, as always, please feel free to contact your child's school social worker.
